AskMyDoctor.health is built privacy-first. We don't sell data, we don't run ad networks, and we don't retain conversational content after your session ends.

1. Information we collect
Conversation content — symptom descriptions, uploaded images, and chat messages are processed transiently to generate guidance and are not retained on our servers after your session.
Account data (optional) — if you create an account, we store your email, display name, and any health-profile preferences you choose to save (allergies, conditions, medications). You can delete this at any time.
Technical data — minimal aggregated analytics (page views, feature usage) for product improvement. No third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use information
- To generate structured health guidance through our AI assistant
- To personalise assessments using your saved health profile (only if you have an account and opt in)
- To improve safety logic, red-flag detection, and clinical pathways
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell your health information to anyone
- We do not show third-party advertising
- We do not use tracking pixels from advertising networks
- We do not retain anonymous chat content after your session ends
4. Data security
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Account data at rest is stored in an encrypted managed database with row-level access controls — your health profile is visible only to you and our service operators acting under strict access policy.
5. Your rights
You may at any time:
- Access the information stored against your account
- Correct or update your health profile
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

6. Children
AskMyDoctor.health is not directed at children under 13. Parents and caregivers may use the service to seek guidance on behalf of a child.
7. International use
The service is available globally. By using it you consent to processing of your information in jurisdictions where our infrastructure operates. Where regional regulations (such as GDPR) apply, we honour the broader of the rights provided.
